Ganesh Chaturthi – 2022

It is believed that Lord Ganesha visits the earth to bless his devotees on Ganesh Chaturthi. He is also the remover of obstacles, that is why all new beginnings start with the worship of Lord Ganesha. This festival was celebrated at BGS public school on 29th August with great Pomp and grandeur. The celebration was initiated with a pooja of Maha Ganapati, along with idols made by the students. It helped them to invoke a sense of devotion and wonder. Based on the mythological story of the fruit of knowledge, a beautiful skit was presented by the students. It was wonderfully executed and conveyed the message about the importance of parents. Following which were the melodious song and marvellous dance performance by students. The event concluded with the Maha Mangalarati and distribution of prasadam to all.
