National Reading Day
BGS Public School celebrated the joy of reading with a week full of engaging activities to foster curiosity and imagination. From silent reading sessions to grade-specific library events, students explored a wide range of genres—fiction, poetry, mythology, biographies, and more.
On 19th June, the school observed a special “Drop Everything and Read (DEAR)” session. For 20 minutes, the entire school community—students, teachers, and staff—paused their routines to read a book of their choice, highlighting the importance of making time for reading in our daily lives.
The initiative aimed to reignite a love for books and reinforce the value of reading in today’s fast-paced digital world.
