GKVK – Field Trip

On 4th August, the students of grade VIII had the privilege to visit Gandhi Krishi Vignana Kendra- University of Agricultural Science, a research institute. Soon after reaching, the students were led to the Agricultural Science Museum which has all the details of the transition in technology and transformation of agriculture, plant diseases, genetics, and plant breeding, Biomass gasification. Apiculture department gave knowledge about Honeybees and pollinators. At the Agricultural Technology Information Centre (ATIC) students came to know more about soil management, control of seedling density, use of fertilizers, pest control and irrigation. Certainly, this field trip helped the students to develop more practical knowledge.
