A little one’s Day out: To the bank, post office and supermarket we go!  

The little minds of grade 2 had an engrossing field trip to the bank, post office and supermarket. They learned about money, passbooks, cheques, and the token system at the bank. At the post office, they discovered stamps and how letters are delivered. In the supermarket, they explored different products, groceries, and the concept of buying things and bartering. At the end, they filled their brains with the fundamental structures of each and every community.
